In My Dear Cat episode 1, Go Yang Soon (played by Choi Yoon Young) dreamed about a cat.

Yang Soon got out of a bank and had a handful of cash. However, people on the streets started to yell at her and chase after her. Yang Soon tried her best to run away but people eventually took her cash, and the cash was spread all over the street.

Yang Soon followed one of the cash but it kept slipping away. She almost reached it when the money suddenly disappeared. She then realized that she was lost in a forest. Just then, she found a cat staring at her. She approached the cat to stroke it, when she heard a phone ringing.

Yang Soon woke up from a dream and wondered why she dreamed about a cat.

Choi Min Decides to Become a Singer

In My Dear Cat episode 7, Yoon Sung Il(played by Choi Min) decided to become a singer.

Sung Il was writing down an application to become a singer. He said to himself, “I need to have an individual skill, what should I write?” Then he went to Yoon Ji Eun (played by Go Won Hee)’s room and asked, “What do girls in your age like?” However, Ji Eun ignored him and Sung Il begged, “Come on! What are cousins for.”

Later in the living room, Min’s aunt asked Min, “So you want to be a singer, huh?” Min replied, “You’re right. That’s why I came back. I need your guys’ help.”

Choi Min Tells Hwang Bum Shik That He Wants to Become a Singer

In My Dear Cat episode 6, Yoon Sung Il (played by Choi Min) told Yoon Noh In (played by Hwang Bum Shik) that he wanted to become a singer.

As Noh In seemed to be depressed after losing his cat, Sung Il took him to a karaoke. He sang an exciting song in front of his grandpa and made him laugh.

After the song, Sung Il said, “I want to become a singer.” Noh In was surprised and asked, “You want to become a singer?”

Choi Min Realizes What the Cat Means to Hwang Bum Shik

In My Dear Cat episode 5, Yoon Sung Il(played by Choi Min) realized what the cat meant to Yoon Noh In(played by Hwang Bum Shik)

Sung Il asked Yoon Jung Hye(played by Kim Seo Ra), “Auntie, I have a question. Why is grandpa so obsessed with the cat? I do understand that he’s been with the cat for many years but I feel like it’s too much. He keeps saying the cat is his everything, why is he saying that?” Jung Hye explained, “Of course we wouldn’t fully understand him but I do. When no one was around him, the cat was the only one next to him. Since Ddoong Yi(the cat) came, your grandpa and Ddoong Yi never left each other.”

Sung Il teared up as he listened to his grandpa’s story.

My Dear Cat Episode 4

In My Dear Cat episode 4, Yoon Noh In(played by Hwang Bum Shik) raged as Yeom Chi Woong(played by Hyun Woo) brought a different cat.

Noh In got a call from Shin Se Ki(played by Kim Young Jae) that his lost cat was found. After the call, he smiled brightly and said to his family, “They found our cat! They’re on their way.”

Soon, Chi Woong and Se Ki brought the cat Chi Woong stole from Go Yang Soon(played by Choi Yoon Young) earlier. As Noh In held the cat, he raged and shouted, “This is not my cat! Are you blind? This one looks nothing like my Ddoong Yi. You two were never willing to find him from the beginning. You just wanted the money. Go home!”

In My Dear Cat episode 3, Yeom Chi Woong(played by Hyun Woo) took Go Yang Soon(played by Choi Yoon Young)’s cat.

Chi Woong realized that the cat Yang Soon brought home was the cat Yoon Noh In(played by Hwang Bum Shik) was looking for. Chi Woong, who needed money, secretly took the cat away from Yang Soon and ran away.

Yang Soon realized the cat was gone and quickly chased after Chi Woon’s car but it was no use.

In My Dear Cat episode 2, Go Yang Soon(played by Choi Yoon Young) brought a cat home. Yang Soon saved a cat from getting hit by a car. As the cat kept following her, she eventually brought her home.

Han Young Sook(played by Lee Kyung Jin) and Han Eun Sook(played by Park So Hyun) shouted, “What is that thing?” Yang Soon replied, “It’s a cat living next to my workplace. It kept following me so I brought it home.” Young Sook said, “Take her back tomorrow.” Yang Soon answered, “No. I brought it after thinking for a while. Don’t you try to stop me from taking care of it. Don’t you dare throw her away like you did before. Then I’m never seeing you again.”
